ShipAware watches every order from the moment it’s placed until it’s delivered, and alerts you about potential issues. You can also send notification emails to your customers or internal support team during specific parts of a shipment’s journey or when specific incidents occur.

First steps
1. Start importing orders
After signing up, you’ll want to import your orders. Connect your integration by clicking the Account link in the top navigation. Then select your integration and follow the prompts.

- Don’t see your integration listed? Let us know what you need and we’ll build a connection for it.
- Don’t see shipments after connecting? Try toggling show all shipments. Also, try the Historic Import button on your integration’s connection page.
- Need to manually add orders? Add orders in bulk or upload a file by clicking the Create button on your shipments dashboard.

2. Configure your alert settings
Go to your Alert Settings to configure your alert reporting schedule, preferred communication channels, and your thresholds for triggering alerts. See the alerts guide for details on every alert type.

3. Configure notification emails
Automatically send emails to your customers or support team during specific shipping events or issues.
Important: Don’t forget to set your company name to enable automatic emails.

4. Configure automation rules to reduce noise
If you find you’re getting too many alerts or sending too many notification emails, you can filter out specific conditions by setting automation rules.
